Disney “Camp Rock” Premiere 8.9 Million Viewers
The Jonas Brothers‘ premiered their first movie-musical called Camp Rock on the Disney Channel on Friday night with huge success.The film drew 8.9 million viewers.According to the Nielsen Media Research:
The Camp Rock audience surpassed the 7.7 million viewers who watched High School Musical’s Disney debut two years ago, but comes up a little short in comparison to last summer’s premiere of High School Musical 2, which earned the distinction of basic cable’s Most-Watched Entertainment Telecast Ever after 17.7 million for the singing-dancing extravaganza.
